hi
here is your answer !

Solution:
______________________________
Given: For each cube , side = 8 cm.
For the resulting cuboid,

l \:  = (8 + 8) = 16\: cm
b \:  =  \: 8 \: cm
h = 8 \: cm

Total surface area of a cuboid
 = 2(lb + bh + lh)

 = 2(16 \times 8 + 8 \times 8 + 16 \times 8))

 = (128 + 64 + 128)

 = 2(320)

 = 640  \: {cm}^{2}

Therefore,
The surface area of the resulting cuboid is 640 sq .cm.

hope \: this \: helps

Hy there,

The cubes are joined end to end to form cuboid, then
The lenght of the cuboid= 2×each
side of both cubes
=2×8
=16cm
The breadth of the cuboid=each side
of the cube
=8cm
The height of the cuboid=each side
of cube
=8cm
Now,
l=16cm
b=8cm
h=8cm
Surface area of cuboid= 2(lb+bh+hl)
= 2[(16×8)+(8×8)+(8×16)]
= 2[128+64+128]
= 2×320cmsq.
= 640cmsq.
Thus, the surface area of cuboid is 640cmsq.

Hope this will help you...
