Total distance travelled(D)= 100km , Average speed= 32km/h , Speed (S1)=40km/h, speed(S2)=30KM/H
Let the distance travelled(D1) @ 40km/h be x km & distance travelled(D2) @ of 30 km/h be (100-x)km
T1 =D1/S1= x/40
T2=D2/S2 = (100-x)/30
Total time (T)= x/40 + (100-x)/30=
Average speed = total distance(D) / total time(T)
32= 100 / (x/40 + (100-x)/30)
