A man covers a distance of 16 km at the speed of 12 km/h and another 10 km at the speed of 15 km/h. Find his average speed for the whole journey.

distance S1=16km,speed v1=12km/hr

time taken T1= S1/V1= 16/12

=1.33hr

distanceS2=10km,speed v2=15km/hr

time taken T2 = S2/V2 = 10/15

=0.67hr

total time taken T=T1 + T2 =1.33+0.67=2hr

average speed= total distance travelled / total time taken = (16+10)/2 =26/2

=13km/hr

I think 13km/hr is a right answer.
