Let the total number of 1 rupee coins be x

Then, total number of 50 paise coins will be 3x

Value of 1 rupee coins = x*1 = Rs. x

Value of 50 paise coins = 0.5*3x = Rs. 1.5x

Total deposited money = Rs. 700

Now, according to the question.

⇒ x + 1.5x = 700

⇒ 2.5x = 700

⇒ x = 700/2.5

⇒ x = 280

So, number of 1 rupee coin is 280.

Number of 50 paise coins = 280*3 = 840

So, number of 50 paise coins is 840
