Answer:Answer :

Magnitude of force required = 50 Newton

Given :

Work done by Man, W = 2000 J

Displacement of sack while dragging, s = 40 m

To find :

Magnitude of force applied, F =?

Formula required :

Formula to calculate Work done

       W = F  s

[Where W is the work done by a body on applying a force F to cover a displacement of s, where Direction of force and displacement is same]

Solution :

Using Formula to calculate Work done

→ W = F s

→ 2000 = ( F ) ( 40 )

→ F = 2000 / 40

→ F = 50  N

Therefore,

Magnitude of Force required in moving given sack is 50 Newton.
