Son = 2/5

daughter = 1/3

wife = 1 - 2/5 - 1/3 = 15/15 - 6/15 - 5/15 = 4/15

.

Answer: His wife got 4/15 of the property.

let \: his \: total \: property \: be \: x \\  \frac{2x}{5}  to \:  son \\  \frac{x}{3} to \: daughter \:  \: rest \: to \: his \: wife \\ let \: her \: wife \: get \: y \\  \: so \\  \frac{2x}{5}  +  \frac{x}{3}  + y = x \\  \frac{6x + 5x + 15y}{15}  = x \\ 11x + 15y = 15x \\ 15y = 4x \\ y =  \frac{4x}{15}
