let consider the person's savings is = x

according this sum,,,

x/2 portion is given to his wife,

x/2 = wife,,,,,,,(1)

rest half portion is divided between son and daughter,

3/4 of rest portion was given to his son,

x/2×3/4 = son ,,,,,,,(2)

rest 1/4 portion was given to his daughter,

x/2× 1/4 = daughter ,,,,,,,(3),

according sum:------

x/2 ×1/4 = 15000 ( daughters portion is 15 000)

x/8 = 15000

x =15000× 8 =120000/

The savings was 120000/,

wife got =120000/2 = 60000/

son got=x/2 × 3/4 = 120000/2 ×3/4 = 45000/

Ans:--- wife got 60000/ , and son got 45000/,

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

A man gave half of his savings to his wife, three-fourth of what is left to his son and the rest to his daughter. If the daughter receives Rs.15,000, What is the share of wife and the son?

Let the money left by the man be Rs x

The share of his wife = Rs x/2

Remaining will be x – x/2 = Rs x/2

Share of his son will be = Rs 3/4 of x/2 = 3 x/8

Share of his daughter = Rs x/2 – 3 x/8 = x/8

But his daughter’s share is given Rs 15000

Therefore  x / 8 = 15000

So x = Rs 1,20,000

So the man left Rs 1,20,000

Money share by his wife = Rs 1,20,000 / 2 = Rs 60,000

Money share by his son = Rs 1,20,000 / 8 = Rs 15,000
