A man goes from city x to city y and return to city x on his motorbike. The distance between the two cities is 260 km and the man taken 4 hours 20 minutes to complete his journey.
Q. Find his average speed and average velocity in kmph.

Total distance travelled = 260 + 260 = 520km
Total time = 4 hrs 20 min.=
total \: time \:  =  \: 4hrs \: 20min \:  =  \:  \frac{13}{3} h
avg \: speed \:  =  \frac{totol \: distnce}{total \: time}  =  \:  \frac{520}{ \frac{13}{3} }  = 120kmh {}^{ - 1}
displacement is zero,

because initial and final point is same.
Hence, average velocity is zero.
