Given :- A man had rs.1200 in his pocket. He lost 25/2% of his money and spent 70% of the remainder. How much money was left with him ?

Solution :-

→ Total money man had = Rs.1200 .

→ Money he lost = (25/2)% of 1200 = (25/2) * (1200/100) = Rs.150 .

so,

→ Remaining money = 1200 - 150 = Rs.1050 .

then,

→ Money he spent = 70% of 1050 = (70 * 1050) / 100 = Rs.735

therefore,

→ Left money = 1050 - 735 = Rs.,315 (Ans.)

Hence, Rs.315 left with him.
