129 Candles

As first from the stub of 1044,

1044/9 =166

116 candles can be made, and from stub of 116 candles

116/9 = 12.8

let say 12 candle can be made , again from stub of 12 candles

12/9 = 1

So total 166+ 12 + 1 = 179 candles

Señorita07: It's 116 up there not 166..
Señorita07: So the answer will be 130 candles
anmol8626: oops sorry silly mistake

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

129 Candles

As first from the stub of 1044,

1044/9 =166

116 candles can be made, and from stub of 116 candles

116/9 = 12 candles and 8 stubs were made

let say 12 candle can be made , again from stub of 12 + 8 =20 stubs made

20/9 = 2

So total 116+ 12 + 2 = 130 candles
