Step-by-step explanation:

here we have given the dimensions of the field 256.2 m by 185.5 m.

length (l) = 256.2 m

breadth (b)= 185.5 m

Area of the field = l x b

= 256.2 x 185.5

= 47,525.1

Area of the field is 47,525.1 m²

He left half of the field area to make a temple

therefor,

Area of temple

= 1/2 (area of field )

= 1/2 ( 47525.1 )

= 23762.55 m²

Area of temple is 23762.55 m²

» A man has a field of dimensions 256.2 m by 185.5 m.

Here..

Length (l) = 256.2 m

Breadth (b) = 185.5 m

____________ [GIVEN]

• We have to find the area of field.

_______________________________

Area of field = Area of rectangle

And we know that Area of rectangle = l × b

So..

Area of field = l × b

=> 256.2 × 185.5

=> 47525.1 m²

_______________________________

» He left half of the field area to make a temple.

Now..

Area of temple = \dfrac{1}{2} Area of field

_____________ [GIVEN]

• We have to find the area of temple.

_____________________________

Area of temple = \dfrac{1}{2} Area of field

=> \dfrac{1}{2} × 47525.1

=> 23762.55 m²

_____________________________

Area of temple is 23762.55 m²

__________ [ANSWER]
