SOLUTION

GIVEN

A man has deposited Rs 35 and another man has debt of Rs 40.

TO DETERMINE

How much rich is first man compared to second man

EVALUATION

Here it is given that a man has deposited Rs 35 and another man has debt of Rs 40.

So amount of first man = + Rs 35 ( As the man has deposited Rs 35 )

Amount of second man = - Rs 40 ( As the man has debt of Rs 40. )

Hence the required amount by which first man is rich compared to second man

= Rs 35 - ( - Rs 40 )

= Rs 35 + Rs 40

= Rs 75
