Given :

Distance = 25km

Time = 1 hour

Displacement = 10km

Solution:

(A) Average speed of taxi = Total distance travelled / Total time

                                           =   \frac{25}{1} = 25 km/hour

Therefore (i) is the correct option

(B) Average velocity of the car = total displacement / total time

                                                     = \frac{10}{1} = 10 km/hour

Option (iv) should be correct

(C) Extra distance travelled by man will be 25-10 = 15km

(D) Extra displacement in km is not defined.

(E) Actual displacement in km is the shortest distance travelled which is 10km i.e. option (iii)
