solve:

Let the principle amounts invested by the man be a, b and c.

We know that Interest = (principle) x (rate) x (time) / 100.

Amount = Interest + principle amount.

Note that the amounts are same after 2, 3 and 4 years, NOT INTEREST.

Now, as the amount is same after 2, 3 and 4 years respectively,

.: a + (a*5*2)/100 = b + (b*5*3)/100 = c + (c*5*4)/100

=> 110a/100 = 115b/100 = 120c/100

=> a : b = 23/22 and b : c = 24/23

.: a : b : c = 276 : 264 : 253

Hence, the required ratio is 276 : 264 : 253.
