Answer:

4400,2600

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

a man invested rs. 7,000 partly at 4% simple interest and partly at 5% simple interest scheme.

let 'x' be the part 1 and 7000-x be the part 2 investments

we know,

SI=PTR/100

he received a total interest of rs.306 in a year .

Time T=1 year

Rate of Interest R=4% for part 1 and 5% for part 2

x*1*4/100+(7000-x)*1*5/100=306

4x+35000-5x=30600

x=35000-30600

x=4400

7000-4400=2600

therefore part 1=4400 and part 2 =2600
