so present age of father=x+24 years
after 2 years
age of son = x+2
age of father=x+24+2=x+26
But age of father = 3*age of son
so x+26=3(x+2)
x+26=3x+6
20=2x
10=x
So present age of son = 10 years and present age of father=10+24=34years.
