Let the age of son is x years
so Father age is ( x + 24) years
In two years
Son's age is ( x + 2) years
Father's age is (x + 24+2)= (x + 26) years
ATQ
2( x + 2) = (x + 26) \\ 2x + 4 = x + 26 \\ 2x - x = 26 - 4 \\ x = 22
So The Son's age is 22 years
Option D is your answer.
