\sf\underline{Step-by-step \: explanation}

Let the son's age be x

Then the father's age will be, x + 27

According to the question...

After 10 years

x + 27 + 10 = 2(x + 10)

x + 37 = 2x + 20

2x - x = 37 - 20

x = 17.

Present ages,

Son's age = x = 17 years

Father's age = x + 27 = 17 + 27 = 44

\sf\underline{Answers \: :}

Son's Present age = 17 years

Father's present age = 44 years

\bf\huge\textbf{\underline{\underline{According\:to\:the\:Question}}}

Suppose the son's age is p

Father's age will = p + 27

\bf\huge\bf\huge{\boxed{\bigstar{{Ten\: year \:Later}}}}

p + 27 + 10 = 2(p + 10)

p + 37 = 2p + 20

2p - p = 37 - 20

\bf\huge\bf\huge{\boxed{\bigstar{{p \:= \:17}}}}

Father's age = p + 27

\bf{\boxed{\bigstar{{ = \:17 + 27}}}}

\bf\huge\bf\huge{\boxed{\bigstar{{44}}}}

Present age of son = 17 years

Present age Father = 44 years
