Let his father's age be x + 28

(x + 28) + 10 = 3(x + 10)

x + 38 = 3x + 30

x - 3x = 38 - 30

3x - x = 38 - 30

2x = 8

$\therefore{}$ Age of son => x => 4 years

$\therefore{}$ Age of father => x + 28 => 4 + 28 => 32 years
