A man is known  by the company he keeps. It means that if you want to know someone , you can have an idea by their social circle. The people who surround them will have a strong impact on their personality.


I will share here a story to explain it well.

 

Two little birds used to live with their mother in a tree. Once the tree fell down due to heavy storm and mother was killed.


Unfortunately , mother died and babies got separated as they fell on other side of the woods at a distance from each other.

 

One bird fell near the cave of robbers while other outside the ashram of rishi. The first bird saw the king who was a stranger to him and asked the robbers to rob the man instantly. 


While on the other hand second bird cordially welcomed the king , made him comfortable and offered him rest and water.


As you can clearly see , company makes people behave accordingly.
