A man is twice as old as his son . 20 years ago , the age of the man was 12 times the age of the son . Find their present ages​

Present

Son's Age = x

Father's Age = 2x

20 Years Ago

Father's Age = 12(x-20)

Son's Age is x - 20 as it is 20 years before.

Father's Age can also be said as 2x - 20 as it is 20 years before.

Therefore, 2x - 20 = 12(x-20)

2x - 20 = 12x-240

220 = 10x

x = 22 years

According to calculations the answer is coming as 22 years ( Sons Age) and 44 years ( Fathers Age)
