Answer:

Present age of son is 22 and of man is 44

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the present age of man be X and the present age of son be Y

According to the first condition

X = 2Y

According to the second condition

X - 20 = 12 ( Y - 20)

X + 220 = 12Y

Now substitute value of X i.e. X = 2Y

220 = 10Y

Y = 22

Therefore X = 2Y

X = 2 x 22

X = 44
