Given:-

  • Mass of suitcase ,m = 30 kg

  • Distance ,s = 10 m

  • Acceleration due to gravity,g = 9.8m/s²

To Find:-

  • Work done ,W

Solution:-

We have to calculate the work done by man in against gravity .

W = mgh

• W denote Work Done

• g denote acceleration due to gravity

• g denote height

Substitute the value we get

→ W = 30 × 10 × 9.8

→ W = 300× 9.8

→ W = 2940

Therefore,the work done by the man is 2940 Joules.

Answer:

Given :-

  • Mass of suitcase (M) = 30 kg
  • Distance travelled (S) = 10 m
  • Acceleration due to gravity (G) = 9.8 m/s²

To Find :-

Work done

Solution :-

As we know that

 \huge \bf \: W = mgh

Here,

W = Work done

M = Mass

G = Gravity

H = Height

Here, we will use distance travelled as height

W = 30 × 10 × 9.8

W = 300 × 9.8

W = 2940

Hence :-

The work is done by suitcase and the work done is 2940 Joule.
