Answer:

Answer:

300km

Explanation:

Given :

Distance of trip => 480km

Time taken to complete journey => 9 hrs

Some part of the trip covered at 45km/hr and remaining 60km/hr

To Find :

The part of the trip covered by him at 60km/hr.

Solution :

Let 'x' hrs be travel with  45km/h and rest with  60km/h

\Rightarrow⇒ 15 x + 60 ( 9 − x ) = 480

\Rightarrow⇒ 45x + 450 − 60x = 480

\Rightarrow⇒ 15x = 60

[ x = 4 ]

Therefore, Total distance covered with  60km/hr  = 60 × 5 = 300 km .
