Let the time taken to travel. with speed of 45km/hr be x hrs, and with speed of 60km/hr will be (9-x) hrs .As distance=speed×time ,then total distance=45x+60(9-x)=480.
Then,x=4 .
Time travelled with 60km/hr=9-4= 5hrs

Kkashyap: And distance=60×5=300km

Total distance of trip = 480 km

Total taken of journey = 9 hrs

Time taken to complete 45 km/hr = x km

Time taken to complete 60km / hr = 9-x km

Distance = speed * time

45x + 60( 9-x ) = 480km

45x + 540 - 60x = 480 km

45x - 60x = 480 - 540

15 x = 60

x = 60 / 15

x =4

Time taken = 4

Time taken to complete 60 km / hr = 9-x

9- 4 = 5

Distance covered by him at 60 km/hr

Distance = speed * time

300 km = 60*5

Final Answer = 300 km
