From C the man walks along CD which makes 37 deg with west.
So the horizontal displacement of man from C is
                  CD cos 37 = 3.993 meters
 The vertical displacement of man from C is :
           CD sin 37 = 3.009 m

So the displacement of man from the origin (he started from )
  horizontal     = 4 - 3.993  = 0.007 m
  vertical = 3 - 3.009 = -0.009 metre
Magnitude of displacement = 0.007² + (-0.009) ² = 0.00114 meters from origin.

Actually the man is almost at the origin.
