The work done by the man in climbing a distance h against gravity is

 W=mgh .

Here  h=30(20\;cm)=600\;cm=6\;m .

So the work done by the man is

 W=(60)(10)6=3600\;J .

The power is rate of doing work.

The power developed by the man is

 P=\frac{W}{t} =\frac{3600}{15} =240\;W
