so, 2/15 of x by train

or, 2x/15 by train .

2/20 of x by bus

so, 2x/20 by bus.

As total journey = 2x/15 + 2x/20 + 10 = x

or, (8x + 3x + 600)/60 = x

or, 11x + 600 = 60x

or, 49x = 600

so, x = 600/49 km

Hence total journey is 600/49 km.
