Power used by him to pull the block = 166.67 watts.

Solution

We have,

Force = 200N

Displacement = 50m

Time = 1 minute

Power = ?

First we will have to find work done by man

We know,

Work done = Force × Displacement

⇒ Work done = 200 × 50

Work done = 10000 J

Now we have work done (W) = 10000 J

Time (t) = 1 minute

= 60 s

Power is given by,

Power (P) = Work done(W) / Time(t)

⇒ P = 10000 / 60

P = 166.67 watts

Power used by him = 166.67 watts.

Answer:

Explanation:

Given :-

Force = 200 N

Displacement = 50 m

Time taken = 1 min = 1 × 60 = 60 seconds

To Find :-

Power, P = ??

Formula to be used :-

Work done = Force × Displacement

Power = Work done/Time

Solution :-

Putting all the values, we get

Work done = Force × Displacement

⇒ Work done = 200 × 50

Work done = 10000 J

Now, Power = Work done/Time

⇒ Power = 10000/60

Power = 166.67 Watt

Hence, the power used by him to pull the block is 166.67 watt.
