A man received ₹ (25x - 10) as his salary and
(23x - 20) as bonus. He bought a gift for his wife
costing ₹(3x – 10) and a gift for his daughter for
₹(5x – 40). How much money is he left with?​

The money left with him =( salary + bonus) - (gift for wife + gift for daughter )

= (25x-10+23x-20) - (3x-10+5x-40)

= (25x+23x-10-20) - (3x+5x-10-50)

= (48x-30)-(8x-60)

= 48x - 30 - 8x + 60

= 48x - 8x +60 - 30

= 40x + 30
