answer

A man spends in 3 months what he earns in 2 months. IF his savings his rs. 125 per month. Find his monthly income ?

Let x = monthly (rs) income

then

total amount earned in 3 months = 3x

amount spent in 3 months = 2x

savings per month = (3x-2x)/3 = x/3

.

x/3 = 125

x = 3*125

x = rs 375

Step-by-step explanation:

A man monthly income = 18000rs

And monthly expenditure = 12000rs

so his annual saving is = 15000rs

let do it :

according to the question

2 month income = 3 month expenditure

2/12 = 3/12

1/6 = 1/4

assume his monthly income = x

so, x of 2/12 = x of 3/12

2x/12 = 3x/12

income + expenditure = saving

2x/12+3x/12 =15000

5x/12 =15000

5x =15000×12

x =15000×12/5

=3000×12

=36000rs

so 36000/2=18000rs

36000/3=12000rs answer
