children are most likely to be dependent on their adults for their safety especially at time of danger they always want the direction of their parents. Adults are most likely to save their loved ones rather than their lives . So the reaction of children and adults dependent upon the how much they love their relatives because the more they love the more strength they gain to save their nearer ones . This is what the reaction mind responds .

Both the adults and the children stand together when faced with danger. There is not much difference in the way they react. The only difference is that children can't fight the sea like others. But they don't panic at all. They in no way add difficulties of the elders. They show rare courage. Jon says to his father , “We Are Not afraid to dying if we can all be together.” It adds to the father determination to fight the sea. Mary , Larry and Herb all play their role heroically.
