Answer:

Present age of man is 30 years.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the present age of the man be a years,

It is given in the question that the man's age is 150% of what it was 10 years ago but 75% of what it will be after 10 years.

It simply means :

= > Present age of a man = 150 % of age of same man 10 years before =75% of age of same man after 10 years

Age of man, before 10 years = present age - 10 years

              = ( a - 10 ) years

150 % of age of man before 10 years = 150 / 100 x ( a - 10 ) years

Age of man, after 10 years = present age + 10 years

             = ( a + 10 ) years

75 % of age of man after 10 years = 75 / 100 x ( a + 10 )years

According to the question : -

= > 150 % of age of same man 10 years before =75% of age of same man after 10 years

= > 150 / 100 x ( a - 10 ) = 75 / 100 x ( a + 10 )

= > 150 ( a - 10 ) = 75( a + 10 )

= > 150a - 1500 = 75a + 750

= > 150a - 75a = 750 + 1500

= > 75a = 2250

= > a = 30

Hence,

Present age of man is 30 years.
