HEY MATE HERE IS UR ANSWER

GIVEN THAT A MAN'S SALARY WAS 1250RS PER MONTH AND IT IS INCREASED TO RS 1750 PER MONTH.

THEREFORE WE HAVE

THE INITIAL SALARY OF MAN = 1250RS

INCREASED SALARY OF MAN = 1750RS

THEREFORE

TOTAL AMOUNT INCREASED IN SALARY IS = 1750rs - 1250rs

THAT IS = 500RS

NOW TO FIND PERCENTAGE OF AMOUNT INCREASED IN HIS SALARY .

SO NOW WE KNOW THAT

THE TOTAL AMOUNT INCREASED IS = 500rs

THERE FOR TO FIND THE PERCENTAGE OF INCREASED AMOUNT WE NEED TO FIND PERCENTAGE OF THIS

MONEY TO THAT OF INITIAL SALARY .

WHICH IS EQUAL TO
 \frac{500}{1250} \times 100\% = 40\%
HENCE THE INCREASED PERCENTAGE ON HIS SALARY IS
40\%
