A man's workdays increased by 20% and his salary per hour increased by 15%.What should be the increment of his daily salary ?​

Answer:

Let he was working x hours per day and wages per hour was y

Then he was earning =xy

Now his Woking hours (x×120%) = 1.2 hours

And his earnings per hour will be (y×115%)=1.15y

So now he is earning = 1.38xy

So earnings increase = {(1.38xy-xy)/xy}×100

=38%
