It is given that a man saves 8/15th part of his monthly income.

We have to find out the fraction of part that he spends.

In order to find it, we will have to subtract 8/15 from the whole

So, the part of income that he spends = 1-\frac{8}{15}

                                                                =\frac{15-8}{15}

                                                                  =\frac{7}{15}

When we subtract 8/15 from 1 the value comes out to be 7/15

So, the man spends \frac{7}{15}th part of his income.

As per data given in the question,

It is given that a man saves $8 / 15$ th part of his monthly income.

From the question,

We have to find out the fraction of part the he spends.

So, for finding the fraction of part the he spends we will have to subtract $8 / 15$ from the total part.

So,

The amount which he spend will be =1-\frac{8}{15}

Hence,

From the question,

=\frac{15-8}{15} \\=\frac{7}{15}

Hence, the man spends \frac{7}{15}$ th part of his income.
