sp =7350

p%=15

cp=sp*100/100+p%

=7350*100/100+15=639approximately

cp of 1article=639

cp of 13articles=639*13=8307rupees

sp of 13articles=11400

profit=11400-8307=3093

p%=p*100/cp=3093*100/8307=37.2=37%approximayely

First of all the profit per cent is given as,

15%= 15/100 = 3/20

we know that,

profit percentage= profit / cost price

so the ratio of profit and CP will be

3:20

now, we also know that SP= CP+PROFIT

again we get the ratio of SP with respect to CP and profit as

=>20+3 = 23

now balancing the equation,

23/20 = 7350/CP

CP = (7350×20)/23

CP = 639

now CP of 13 articles,

=> 13×6391.3

=> 83086

SP of 13 articles,

=> 13× 11440

=> 148720

profit

=> 148720-83086

=> 65634

profit per cent

=> 65634/ 83086%

=> 78%
