Answer:

a man sold = 250 chairs

Gain = SP of 50 chairs

A/q

we know that profit percent =

profit * 100/Cp

so, we suppose sp be X

cp= 250-50x

gain%=50x*100/250-50x

so,gain%=5000/200

answer is =25%

Answer:

let SP be x

Now,

total SP = 250x

gain = 50x

CP = 250x - 50x = 200x

profit \: \% \:  = profit \times 100 \div cp \\   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  = 50x \times  \frac{100}{200x}  = 25

Hence, profit will be 25%
