Let the cost of a chair and table be X

and y respectivly .

According to the question ,

X+12x/100+y+16y/100=2178

112x + 116y =217800........(i)

Also

x+16x/100+ y + 12y/100=2154

116x + 112y = 215400.........(ii)

Solving (i) and (ii) we get x = Rs. 650 and

Rs.1250
