\boxed{\text\textbf{LOSS \;\;\;PERCENTAGE = 4}{}}

A man sold two refrigerators at 4,800 Rs. each.

Let the cost price of his refrigerators = x

He gains on his first refrigerators = 20%

So, cost price of his first refrigerators = 120% of x = 4,800

= 1.2 x = 4800

x = \frac{4800}{1.2}

x = 4,000 Rs (₹)

Let the cost price of his second refrigerator is = y

He loses on his second refrigerator is = 20%

So, cost price of his second refrigerator is = 80% of y = 4,800

= 0.80 y = 4800

y = \frac{4800}{0.80}

y = 6,000 Rs (₹)

Total cost price of both refrigerators = 4000 + 6000 = 10,000 Rs.

Total selling price of both refrigerators = 4800 + 4800 = 9,600 Rs.

Hence selling price is less than cost price, there is a loss.

Loss = 10,000 - 9,600 = 400 Rs.

THERE IS A LOSS OF 4% IN WHOLE TRANSACTION
