Given :

Part of money saved : ₹360

Percent of income spent (agriculture) : 20%

Percent of money spent (family) : 25%

Percent of money spent (education) : 25%

To find :

The total income of the man.

Solution :

First, we should find the percent of money saved by the person after spending for all the requirements.

Percent of money saved :

\sf \dashrightarrow 100 - (20 + 25 + 25)

\sf \dashrightarrow 100 - (20 + 50)

\sf \dashrightarrow 100 - 70

\sf \dashrightarrow 30\%

Now, we can find the total income of the man.

Total income of the man :

Let the total income be m.

\sf \dashrightarrow 30\% \: of \: m = 360

\sf \dashrightarrow \dfrac{30}{100} \: of \: m = 360

\sf \dashrightarrow \dfrac{30}{100} \times m = 360

\sf \dashrightarrow \dfrac{3}{10} \times m = 360

\sf \dashrightarrow m = \dfrac{10 \times 360}{3}

\sf \dashrightarrow m = \dfrac{3600}{3}

\sf \dashrightarrow m = 1200

Hence, the total income of the man is ₹1200.
