Answer :-

Let man total salary is Rs.120x .

so,

→ spent on house rent = (1/4) * 120x = Rs.30x

→ spent on food = (1/3) * 120x = Rs.40x

→ spent on travel = (1/6) * 120x = Rs.20x

then,

→ left salary now = 120x - (30x + 40x + 20x) = 120x - 90x = Rs.30x .

now,

→ spent remaining = (1/10) * 30x = Rs.3x .

A/q,

→ 30x - 3x = 1350

→ 27x = 1350

→ x = 27

therefore,

→ Difference between spent on house rent and food = 40x - 30x = 10x = 10 * 27 = Rs.270 (Ans.)
