A man spent 20%of his money and after spending 30% of the
remainder, he had Rs. 11200 left. How much had he at first?
Options : (a) Rs. 26000 (b) Rs.17000
(c) Rs. 20000 (d) Rs. 21200

Let the original amount of money be ₹100
So, the money spent by the man=20÷100×100=₹20
Money Left= ₹100-₹20=₹80
According to the question :
₹80× original amount= ₹ 11200

original amount=100
money spent by the man= 120÷100×100=20
ttl money left=100-20=80
orgininal amount -80=11200
