A man starts his journey from a place A,and then travels 36km towards west and reaches a place B and from there he travels 27km towards south and reaches a place C and again from C he travels to his starting place A. find the total distance he traveled.

first the man is traveling 36 km.then he travels 27 km.then again to the starting place means again the same distance.so this problem can be solved like this
36+27
then the result multiplied into 2
so 63 multiplied into 2
126 km
