A man starts walking at 10km/hr. After every 1 km he takes 5 minutes break. How much time will he take to cover the distance of 5 km? ​

Time taken in covering 5 km = \frac{5}{10} = \frac{1}{2}\ hour = 30\ minutes

That person will take rest for four times.

∴ Required time = (30 + 4 \times 5) minutes = 50 minutes.
