Actual Answer is 160%160%.

What I have done: I took his income as 100100. According to the question, his income is increased by 4040 so, 140140.

According to the question, his expenditure is 8080, then his expenditure increased by 10%10% so 90%90%.

According to the question, the man's saving is 2020 because 100−80=20100−80=20, After his expenditure increased by 10%10% his new saving is 5050, i.e 140−90=50140−90=50.

I want to find the percentage of saving is increased, so from saving difference 50−2050−20is 3030.

30/20×100=150%30/20×100=150%. I got 150%150%, but the answer is 160%160%.
