The reason of non-production of the pepsin is , pepsinogen was not converted into pepsin.

- There are various chemical substances which produces enzymes through different chemical reactions.

- These chemical substances are known as the proenzymes.

- Similarly, the proenzyme of pepsin is pepsinogen which reacts with the hydrochloric acid of work gastric juice to produce the pepsine enzyme.

- If this pepsinogen is not produced in our body then the pepsine will be also not produced in our body.
