Answer:

20 truck were loaded.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : A man takes 9 minutes to load a box in a truck. 8 boxes can be loaded into a truck. If 16 men load for one and a half hours.

To find : How many trucks will be loaded?

Solution :

According to question,

1 men take 9 minutes to load 1 box.

16 men take 9 minutes to load 16 boxes.

We know, 16 men load for one and a half hours.

Convert one and a half hours into minutes,

1\frac{1}{2}hr=60+30=90 min

In 9 minutes they load  = 16 boxes

In 90 minutes they load = 16\times\frac{90}{9} boxes

In 90 minutes they load = 160 boxes

8 boxes can be loaded into a truck.

i.e. 8 boxes = 1 truck

1 box = \frac{1}{8} truck

160 boxes =  \frac{1}{8}\times 160 truck

160 boxes = 20 truck.

Therefore, 20 truck were loaded.
