let the total journey be x .
And journey travelled by bus and cycle be
 \frac{3}{4}x \: and \: \frac{1}{5} x

According to question ,
 \frac{3}{4} x \: + \frac{1}{5} x \: + \:1 \: = x

 \frac{15}{20} x + \frac{4}{20}x + 1 = x

 \frac{19}{20} x + 1 = x

 \frac{19}{20} - x = - 1

By taking LCM ,

 \frac{19}{20}x - \frac{20}{20}x = - 1

 - \frac{1}{20}x = - 1
x = 20km

Journey travelled by Bus = 15km

Journey travelled by cycle = 4km

Journey travelled by Foot = 1km
