A man travelled 1/8th of his journey by bus, 1/4th by taxi, 3/5th train and the remaining 8 km on foot. what is the length of his total journey

vikash3726: let total journey be x . then total journey by bus,taxi and train will be 39x/40 ..then use equation x-8=39x/40......solve for x
